Alper Özkaya Outstanding Achievement Scholarship

Scholarship objective: To support students who stand out among Erciyes University Computer Engineering students with their sociability, entrepreneurship, command of foreign languages and success in their courses on their way to becoming a global person

Duration of the scholarship: Starts in September and ends in May each year. Each year, the scholarship will be awarded to the 5 students with the highest grade point average among the students who met the requirements of the previous year. A total of 20 students from 4 semesters will receive the Alper Özkaya Outstanding Achievement Scholarship each year. In order for the scholarship to continue the following year, the student will again have to be one of the top 5 students among those who meet the requirements.

1st grade requirement: The first 5 students who are members of at least one club, who have passed the preparatory class with an average of 80+ in English, or who have skipped the preparatory class regardless of their grades, based on the ranking in Turkey at the entrance to the school,

2nd grade requirement: To the first 5 students who have at least one club membership and have a 1st grade English grade above 80 according to their 1st grade point average,

3rd grade requirement: At least one club membership, 2nd grade English grade above 80, 2nd grade internship in one of the IT 500 or ISO 1000 companies or abroad, to the top 5 students according to the 2nd grade GPA ranking,

4th grade requirement: This award will be given to the first 5 students who have at least one club membership, whose most recent English grade is above 80, and who have completed their 2nd year internship in one of the IT 500 or ISO 1000 companies or abroad, according to their 3rd year grade point average.

Documents Required for Application:

1- Application Form (download here)

2- Proof of club membership for all students

3- For first year students, a document indicating that they have bypassed the preparatory class or showing their preparatory class grade, ÖSYM placement certificate

4- For second, third and fourth year students, transcripts showing GPA and English grades

5- For third and fourth year students, a document proving that the company they are doing their internship is in IT 500 or ISO 1000
